Audit Issues
Temporary Labor Agencies --The payroll will be charged as if the temporary labor is a direct employee, unless the agency provides our insured general contractor with a certificate of insurance naming the general contractor as additionally insured.
Materials Cost -- When a general contractor is providing materials to an insured subcontractor, the cost of materials is only charged on the payroll, not at the final audit. However, if the subcontractor is providing labor and materials, he will charge for both.
